Agenda, a True Run Media publication, is Beijing’s first English-language business lifestyle magazine and serves an insider hub for business people and entrepreneurs working in Beijing. Our exclusive business content, relevant stories about Beijing’s booming business environment, and targeted recommendations for entertainment make us a must-read for professionals working in Beijing.

As the managing editor, you’ll serve as the finger on the pulse of foreign and local companies innovating the way business is done in China. The job involves planning and executing a biweekly magazine, interviewing industry leaders, attending both business and entertainment events, as well as managing an editorial assistant, freelance writers, and interns.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a true passion for business, innovation, and technology, and enjoys living the good life in Beijing. Applicants should hold degree in business, journalism, or a related field, have two years of relevant work experience, and possess great attention to detail. The chosen applicant will also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Strong organization and leadership skills
  • An outgoing personality and great networking skills
  • The ability to plan and execute editorial content in print and online
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Phenomenal English, and hopefully, proficiency in Mandarin
