AmCham EventThe good people from AmCham China have put together a talk from Michelle LaVallee, the founder of Management Success China, on Friday March 2nd (11.30am-1.30pm). An experienced director of international hospitality brands across China and Macao, she will focus on managing talent for small- and medium-sized businesses. She will also provide an overview of “Topgrading”, a set of tools to guide recruiting, interviewing, coaching, and succession planning.

LaVallee will discuss and give solutions to mistakes often made by entrepreneurs in China, such as bad recruitment strategies; poor job detail summaries; failing to promote from within; and failing to quantify recruitment success.

I’m sure these are all things with which we could do with some help, whether to get things to right or to receive confirmation that you’re doing it the right way! Either way, staffing is and will always be one of the most important aspects of any business, but it’s maybe not often we examine our procedures. This could be a good time to reappraise those habits.

The event will be held at: AmCham China Conference Center
The Office Park, Tower AB, 6th Floor
No. 10 Jintongxi Road
中国美国商会办公室 会议室
远洋光华国际, AB座6层
朝阳区金桐西路10号

This event is off-the-record. Lunch and refreshments will be served.
