Now that the lines have thinned and eggs tucked away since last month’s near-riots over the iPhone 4S release here in China, The China Daily and Chinabuzz reports that online orders have resumed for Mainland customers after a “long period in short supply.”

According to this official online ordering system, it now has iPhone 4S 16GB, 32Gb and 64GB in both black and white versions available. But each customer was restricted to buy two phones at most, and was given no specific delivery time but only “February” too.

Meanwhile, online rumors are already circulating that the next generation iPhone 5 could be released as early as this summer and may feature such goodies as an A6 processor, 4G connectivity, 3D imaging features, up to 64 GB of storage and a slightly larger (but slimmer) body and screen.

But if you simply just can’t wait until the summer  to flash that “iPhone 5″ you can always look into purchasing a 200-kuai shanzhai model (billed the “HiPhone 5″), complete with such handy features as dual SIM-card slots (perfect for keeping communications between yourself and your wife and mistress straight)  on Taobao.

Or better yet, get the inside scoop and sign up for a job on the assembly line at Foxconn – but only if you can stand the working conditions.
