I would start off my perfect day in Beijing with Linus and crew at Heyrobics Running Camp in Chaoyang Park. Now, keep in mind I’m pretending it’s still warm out, since it’s my perfect day. After getting my heart pumping with a great group of people, I would head over to one of the city’s all you can eat brunches. I have been wanting to try out dim sum at The Renaissance or the Bubbalicious at The Westin, so I’ll treat myself today!

Next I would bike to Maliandao Tea street, where I would spend the afternoon chatting with local vendors, sipping my favorite green, oolong, and white teas, buying way too much tea ware and eating tea-infused cuisine.

After biking back to the east, I would stop off for acupuncture and acupressure to relieve my tired body just before popping in to collect my custom-made cheesecake from The Fig Tree that I’m bringing to a private dinner party I have booked with Chef Sue Zhou and Events Manager Josh Kernan on the roof of The Hutong!

After dinner we would head to The Hilton Chaoyang for one of their incredible charity events.  Upon returning home, I would send out a charity events newsletter (you can subscribe by emailing erinleehenshaw@gmail.com) and snuggle up with Golden Bridges’ Weibo Digest (www.goldenbridges.org) or Agenda.  Exercise, tea, fine cuisine, hosting friends, and a bit of charity! That about sums up my perfect day!
